[Download 100%] – 7 Shootings Now Linked To The Stockton Serial Killer – And The Police

Police in California are trying to solve a gruesome string of serial murders resulting from seemingly random shootings – and now it appears there are more to list.

As we’re reporting, police in the Central Valley city of Stockton are trying to stop a serial killer who killed five people between July and September of this year. But now, investigators say ballistic evidence suggests the gun used in those five shoots was also used in two. other Shooting took place in April last year as well.

The gun used in this year’s five unsolved murders was also used to kill a 40-year-old Hispanic man in the city of Oakland on April 10, 2021, according to the Stockton Police Department. Then, six days later, a gun was used to shoot and seriously injure a 46-year-old black woman in Stockton. Oakland is about 70 miles west of Stockton.

Now, police are checking the California statewide police database for more ballistic information to determine whether there are other shootings involving the same gun. Detectives are also examining case files of additional recent shootings in and around Stockton to determine if there is a connection.

Stockton Police Public Information Officer Joe Silva speak to NPR Expressing his concern about the investigation:

“So, as the investigation continues, there is certainly the possibility that there may be more.”

To NPR, the surviving victim – who was also the shooter’s only known female victim – has so far been able to give “few details” as to her identity. Police believe the shootings were random, or if they haven’t, they haven’t yet found a common thread linking them all together.

On the day of her shooting last April, the victim reportedly recalled the shooter wearing a dark sweatshirt with a head hood, dark pants and a black mask. This is similar to a description police released earlier this week about a potential person interested in this year’s shootings.

Silva said:

“Our detectives are working with him to find out as much as possible. He described his shooter as an unidentified race male, 5’10” to 6 feet tall with a slender build.”

Police in both Stockton and Oakland have already received hundreds of suggestions about potential suspects.

However, Silva secretly warned that he still did not have very solid evidence during the search for the shooter:

“The weird thing is, even though we’re working round the clock and we’re getting a lot of calls and tips, we don’t have any workable leads right now.”

All the shootings took place late at night or early in the morning in dark, poorly lit areas. Right now, Stockton police do not believe that the shooting is robbery- or gang-related.

Other state and federal agencies, including the FBI, the California Highway Patrol and several county sheriff’s departments, are also involved in the case. until Thursday morning NPRThe informational reward for the arrest of the killer has been increased to $125,000.

mayor of stockton Kevin Lincoln spoke about the killings at a news conference this week. According to KTVUThey said:

“My deepest condolences to the community of Oakland, as well as to Mayor Schaff and the entire city that is now a part of what is happening in the City of Stockton. We cannot do this alone. The City of Stockton, the City of Oakland, we are not doing this alone. If you have any information that could lead to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for these senseless acts of violence, now is the time to speak up.”
