On June 23, they discovered an account with the username jjkit7#8147 The images were reportedly uploaded two days earlier, on June 21. Police immediately launched an “intense” investigation, per tmzSoon, they come to know that the account belongs to Kitna.
According to the arrest report filed with the charges, Kitna shared photos of her chatting with two other Discord users. One photo showed “a middle-aged girl being sexually assaulted by a man.” Another image was of “a pubescent teenage female who was also exposing herself.”
By this week, the police had identified Kitna. On Wednesday, they executed a search warrant at his residence in Gainesville. They also confiscated his phone. on that device tmz, police reportedly found three more “child sexual abuse images depicting two nude pubescent teens in different poses.” Police claim that those pictures were first saved in Kitna’s phone a year ago.

After QB sent the disturbing photos, a user reportedly replied:
“Wait for what. Chaila. Are they under 18? Noooo.”
It is not clear how Kitana responded to that call-out on the chat app. but per APKitana later reportedly told police that she thought the photos were legal to send “because she found them online.” Uhhh, what’s wrong?!

In the form of AP Note, charges in two of the five arrests are second-degree felonies. The other three are third-degree felonies. While the charges “still need to be formalized by the state attorney’s office” as of Friday morning, the potential punishment is severe: Jalen could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
On Thursday, Kitna’s parents appeared in court on the matter over a video call from their home state of Texas. He talked to the judge about the charges and eventually got his son out of jail. Espn reports that Jalen “cried” from his seat in the Alachua County Jail while his father, John, and his mother, jenniferspoke to the judge mason rawls during video call.

One of Jalen’s attorneys spoke to the media outside court after appearing before Judge Rawls. caleb kenyan told reporters:
“He’s got a great family. He’s got good family support. He’s going to be well taken care of.”

Discord has also issued a statement regarding this matter. in a message sent to AP, the social media platform confirmed that they had already deactivated Kitna’s account “due to a violation of their terms of service”. It is not clear whether this arrest was related to the charges or something else.
Regardless, a Controversy spokesperson made a strong statement regarding the matter:
“Discord has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse, which has no place on our platform or anywhere in society. We work tirelessly to find and remove this hateful content and take action, including banning responsible users and engaging with the appropriate authorities.
