At one point, the Amazon founder even called his girlfriend of three years a “big heart” while talking about their potential to be “great partners.”

“Lauren is the most generous, biggest-hearted person you’ll ever meet. So, she’s an inspiration in that way,” Jeff told the outlet. “She never misses a birthday. The network of people she gives birthday gifts to is huge. And this is just a small example.

“We’re really great teammates, and we have a lot of fun together and we love each other… We always look up to each other and we’re a team,” admits Jeff. At first Lauren said, “It’s easy” because they “offer each other’s energy” and “respect each other,” which makes it “fun working together.”

They began talking about their day-to-day life together and even joked that they could be “boring” at times. “We can be kind of boring,” Lauren said with a laugh. “I would say normal. We have dinner with the kids. It’s always fun and great conversation. There are seven of us, so there’s a lot of discussion. And then we watch a movie… by committee. It takes a lot of time to find that movie.” it takes time.

“We probably spend more time picking movies than we should,” Jeff said before talking about his wealth. As a billionaire, he said he plans to give away most of his money throughout his lifetime. “TeaThat hard part is figuring out how to do it,” he said. “It’s not easy. It wasn’t easy. Building Amazon took a lot of hard work and very smart teammates. And I’m finding — and Lauren’s discovering — that philanthropy is very similar. It’s not easy. It’s really harsh.”

Jeff and Lauren’s interview comes just before the start of 2019 after they first started their romance. Since their relationship was confirmed, they didn’t shy away from going on a PDA-filled outing together in Rome, Italy last month. Although their relationship first came under some controversy as they were both married to other people when their relationship became public, they managed to ignore the critics as they divorced their spouses and started a future together.
