Actor Suriya has donated Rs 25 lakh from the collection of the film Viruman to the Actors Association.

Actor Suriya is not only an actor but also a producer in Tamil cinema. His film ‘Virumaan’ starring his brother Karthi and Aditi Shankar, directed by Muttiah, opened to the biggest box office worldwide. The film is expected to do well during the long holiday weekend and the Independence Day holiday.

In this matter, the sixth meeting of the Executive Committee of the Actors Association was held yesterday. It was attended by actors Suriya and Karthi. The 2020 National Award winners including Surya and GV Prakash were felicitated at the event.

After the immense success of ‘Viruman’, Suriya donated twenty five lakh rupees of the film’s collection to the Nidayar Sangha Building Fund. The event was attended by President Nassar, Vice President Karunas, Puchi Murugan, veteran actress Sachu and others.
