[Download 100%] – ‘The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special’ trailer

Although Halloween is just around the corner, the thoughts of many people (and a lot of stores) are turning to Christmas. Holiday! Celebration! Channuka! Kwanzaa! However you celebrate, you’re not alone: Marvel is working on something for the season, too.
More specifically, James Gunn, writer/director of the first two Guardians of the Galaxy, who found time to shoot an entire holiday special while he was also working on the third film.
Happening before the events of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’, is set during the special holiday season and finds our heroes finding a way to please Chris Pratt’s Peter “Star Lord” Quill. He falls into a depression after learning of the death of Gamora (Zoe Saldana) in Avengers: Infinity War and his time-travel options do not recognize him.

So what is the group to do? Well, as Craiglin (Sean Gunn) points out, it’s almost Christmas on Earth and they can go there to make the season pleasant and bright for Quill. However, Drax (Dave Bautista) and Mantis (Pom Clementieff) take the idea a step further.
Upon learning of Kevin Bacon’s love for Quill, the pair decide to go to his Hollywood home and kidnap him. Count on Gunn to find some way to distribute emotion along the side of the sabotage.
The cast for the special — which follows Marvel’s Halloween one-off “Werewolf by Night” — features Karen Gillan Nebula, Bradley Cooper voicing Rocket and Vin Diesel once again providing vocals for Groot. Even on voice duty? Maria Bakalova, the voice behind Cosmo the Space Dog.
And while we don’t necessarily associate Kevin Bacon with Christmas, and the actor is new to the MCU (though he’s been mentioned in previous “Guardians” outings), he’s worked with James Gunn before on “Super.”

Other details are still wrapped up in the gift, including the mysterious new Marvel character Gunn has previously said will be introduced in the special. Could it be revealed that Santa is secretly a mutant, thereby explaining how he can visit every child’s house in one night on Christmas Eve.
It all sounds like fun, but is also appropriate with MCU continuity. At least in comic-book form, that’s the form for Marvel with Christmas specials, as it has created various Christmas specials featuring a wide variety of characters (we wouldn’t have expected a “Ghost Rider” celebratory story, but it exists).
And likely it has to get us in a good mood because Gunn said ‘Vol. 3’ will end his trilogy of films – and we can’t expect a happy ending for everyone. No, we doubt he’ll kill everyone, but Gunn hasn’t been shy about it in the past.
Still, we look forward to the “Holiday Special,” which represents another wild swing from Team Marvel.
The Guardians of the Galaxy holiday special will be available on Disney+ on November 25. and ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ will run on May 5, 2023.
