National Award winning actor Dhanush’s Telugu debut film ‘Sir’. The film is also being remade in Tamil as Vaathi. Naagvanshi and Sai Sowjanya under Siddhara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas are producing the film, which is almost in its final stages. Srikala Studios is releasing this film. Sanyuktha Menon is playing the lead role in this film.

The title video of the film, which was released in both the languages, also garnered a lot of attention announcing the ambitious journey of a common man. It was also revealed that the college story would feature a unique film. Not only this, the title posters of this film also increased the excitement of Dhanush’s fans. On the occasion of Dhanush’s birthday, the makers have released the first look of Saar/Vathi.

The first look poster is made to make it appear that Dhanush is busy with some important work as he is seated by the light of a matchstick, around which books are kept on shelves. The first look of Vaathi, in which Dhanush plays the role of a lecturer, is adding to the excitement for the film. The teaser of the film will be released tomorrow (July 28) at 6 pm on Dhanush’s birthday.

Talking about this, the director of the film Venky Atluri says, “Dhanush is in the role of a lecturer in this film. The film, being made simultaneously in both Tamil and Telugu languages, focuses on the education system. Dhanush’s hard work and dedication in shooting this film is truly unbelievable. Both GV Prakash’s music and Yuvraj’s cinematography will be the most important aspects of this film.”
